The MRF Project aims to support the preparation and implementation of priority investment plans for providing essential water, sanitation, and solid waste management services to municipalities and public utility companies in targeted provinces. The project is being implemented in four municipalities: Şanlıurfa, Gaziantep, Kilis, and Adıyaman. The overarching goal of the MRF Project is to strengthen the capacity of municipalities in Türkiye’s provinces most affected by the influx of Syrians under Temporary Protection (SUTP) to deliver municipal services and sustainably improve the quality of life for host communities and refugees.

The project will be promoted with a slogan highlighting the partnership between the EU, EIB, İLBANK, Turkish authorities, and the public: “Together for the better” – with a specific message for the project: “Investing in clean, safe water for better health for all.”
